As HDD is becoming a more accepted and common method to install power and communication ducts, the issue of internal bead removal has grown. It is imperative that 100% of internal beads are completely removed from HDD installed pipes. Removal of these internal beads must be carried out as the pipe strings are created, if this is not done correctly at that time then this can create huge issues down the line and potentially leaving the finished product not fit for purpose.
We carry out pipework welding for a range of different projects as well as butt fusion for drilling activities and internal bead removal.
During the past 5 years, we have developed tried and tested equipment that can be placed within the installed ducting using specialist electro mechanics can remove both full or partial beads on 500m sections of electricity ducting, leaving the internal face smooth and free from any obstructions.
